It is hard to see the border, but it is stairways, which remind me of the stairway to heaven.
The Book of Mormon's are the ones our son Lane wrote a message in to my husband and I. They are probably the last thing he could write. At this time he could no longer write, but had to print in them, before he lost the use of his hands and arms.....we really cherish them!
Vinyl lettering in my prayer room....I still need to put up the rest of it which says "Walk beside me".

It has been awhile since I have blogged.... I will post a few pictures!
February has been quite a month!....it is getting closer to spring (and allergies..ugh!) tree pollen has already started! But, spring is always so beautiful.
I had a really nice Valentine! First thing Valentine morning, the door bell rang. A beautiful bouguet of flowers from my son, Jeff, arrived from the florist. I thought I had better water them, so took them to the sink to find they were silk flowers...you couldn't tell the difference. I love silks because they never die... my husband and Jeff, got a real laugh out of that, as did I! He was so thoughtful and I love him so much! My daughter, DeAnn's birthday was the next day the 15th, another special day...we celebrated it on Valentine's day..a day early. We had lots of fun visiting with everyone and the little ones were just so cute!
We went to DeAnn's a few nights ago for dinner...Melissa and girls, Rachel, and Lynette, and their boys were all there. The little ones are such a blast to watch and play with. Lance sat right beside Grandpa Swede and played with Noah's ark and all the animals. Little Luke was so cute too. He wouldn't take his eyes off Grandpa Swede for a long time, then he sat on my lap and we played. He is such a happy baby and just laughed so hard with great big belly rolls. His laugh is so contagious, he had me just laughing too...(Rachels boys). Melissa's little girl Neeley, is such a cute little girlie girl and so smart! She got right in there and played with all the boys, even though she is so petite. She said here ABC's for us and sang for us.Baby Brylen is just beautiful and such a little smiler, a really happy baby! Lynette's boys were so fun! Jaxon, is learning to talk and is so busy and cute and his big brother Jace, is really quite the big boy! I ask him what he did at pre-school? he told me he learned about trains, boats, airplanes, etc. I told him that they were transportation. A little later we ask him what transportation was and he told us "you ride". He's got quite the memory and also imagination! We played games with the little ones...of course Grandma DeAnn is good at this! Grandma Ann just helped a little with the hand and body movements. It was just so cute to watch. There is nothing more
precious than little children. I could just watch and listen to them forever!
I will post just a couple of pictures of my Prayer room as Grandpa Swede calls it!
Grandpa Swede has been pretty sick for a few days now.....he got a few shots and meds. Sure hope he feels better soon!
As my aunt once told me..."old age ain't for sissies". I would like to be able to do all the things I once could! But, oh well! we all get here eventually! I am so very blessed for all I can do and all I have learned! And for my loving family and friends and especially for the gospel in my life!
