Crazy Lady!

That's right I think I am going crazy and my patience, which I am noted for, is proving not to be very good right now!
We are suppose to be buying a Town House. They say it will probably close the first week of December, and that everything is good and in order. We were qualified for it. But, I keep worrying....With our country in the financial mess it's in...."Will we get the loan? I always have my Christmas Tree up by now! and I don't even know where I will put it yet! Yep! I am running in circles, cleaning one corner and then another. Trying to get ready for Christmas. Measuring....cleaning, tossing out stuff and I can't even see a dent yet? Well, this picture looks like me and if I could eat Chocolate....I would eat all I could get my hands on! What is that? "HAVE FAITH", but what about PATIENCE? I will update you later, if I am sane ok?
Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!
Love ya!

Just thinking!... what I do best!

As I read my grandaughter's blog this morning.....it really made me wakeup and do some thinking! She is so precious! and I am so blessed to have such a great family and friends! I am so blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life to help me on my path. I am so blessed that they all share with me the great knowledge that I need, because I am soooooooo far from perfect!

As I read her blog, the thought came to me....."Cleanliness is next to Godliness".... One of my challenges I deal with on a daily bases is my house. My thought: CLEAN OF WHAT? a spec of dust!....."No, clean of sin", to be loving, take time for others, be forgiving, set a good example and serve our Heavenly Father, and keep his commandments, and then the Savior will help me take over the task of making my own house, a home on earth. "And hopefully help me get over the "too dusty thing!" Only the house of the Lord needs to be in perfect order and we need to keep it clean, for us to live with him someday! Well, I probably sound a bit off today, but I really need to be reminded of the most important things in life. I know I can't do them alone.

We had a wonderful visit night before last.....Jace and Amy Lambeth, and their beautiful little children stopped by to visit with us! Such timing.....we really needed their sweet spirits with us that evening, because we had barely got the word that my husbands brother, Carroll, had passed away, minutes before they arrived.
Well, me being such a baby lover!....got to hold baby Ellis, for about a minute when Swede retrieved him and so much for me! The "big kid", my husband, and baby Ellis really bonded. Ellis just laughed for him and it put the sparkle back in my husbands eyes! He is just the cutest little "round mound of sound!" just adorable. I got to hold him for about 2 seconds after that. But, my time was wonderful with their beautiful little girl, Kylie. She is just a deliteful little princess! I think she liked me and I just loved her! she played with the train and books and then Grandpa Swede's, turtles, which he collects. She is just beautiful and so smart. The visit was short. Jace had to be at work, but he and Amy are just such an amazing couple.....can't wait until we can visit for a longer time! They shared lots of really interesting things with us! and I am so thankful for them and want them to know how much we love them, and look so forward to visiting again and playing with those precious babies. They gave us a greeting card with the picture of their beautiful family on it! It is really special!
Next, we are most likely going to be moving in 2 or 3 weeks to a new residence. But, we are going to live in our same ward. I am so glad! Change is always so hard, even though I love all the people in all the wards and I also love my calling. The moving part is going to be the hardest challenge as we just aren't as young and strong as we use to be. Darn it! so that part is really worrying us...Not to say we keep acquiring more, no matter how much we get rid of. Will post our new physical address if we move later.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving full of much love and joy!

Until next time!
We Love Ya!

More pictures of my special day!

Best Birthday Ever!

Other than I am a year older I had such a special Birthday! It began with a trip to the St. George Temple. My daughter, DeAnn and Grandaughter Lynette, took me there. This was the first time we have gone to the temple together as family and was my greatest desire for my 71st birthday. But it turned out to be so much more! Thanks to Grandpa Holm, he tended Lynette and Dustin's little guys all day until Dustin got home from work.
It was such a wonderful day at the temple! I just know it is the closest place to Heaven! The day was so warm, the grass so green and the flowers still in bloom. We went to the visitors center after the session. It is always so special, no matter how many times you might have visited it.
The day followed with a shopping spree to Tai-Pan.....and I do mean shopping! Love that store and it was the first time I had been there!
My sweet husband bought me new tires for my car and did a repair on it......I had so many nice phone calls and visits from my family and lovely gifts! Family is the best! and I love each and everyone of them so much! Presents are always great, but the gift of time and their love is more precious than anything else.
I'm posting pictures of our three generations...myself, DeAnn, and my granddaughter, Lynette.
We got home and all was well on our home fronts..... I played with Jase and Jaxon for a little while, basket ball, and applying tattoo's like Grandpa Swede's, on Jase, except they were of Pumpkins and Ghosts and they do wash off.
I am sure Grandpa Holm was pretty tired, as he had worked all the night before. He had taken the boys on a bike ride and he and Daddy Dustin, had taken them out to eat and play.
My hubby Swede, was already in bed when we arrived home....as always he left the lights burning for me when I got home, but was sound asleep as usual. I'm so glad he is so thoughtful and good natured. Yep! I am a very blessed person and have so much to be thankful for. Especially for such loving family and friends!

OK, here's some "Oldies"

Just for fun! I found some pictures of Swede and I. He was 17 and I was 15 years old. Not taken at the same time. When he was 17, I was 13. Wow! what a long time ago that was!
By the way, now you all know my secret..."I never have been a true blonde! This was my natural hair color. What becoming a beautician will do for ya!..
Do blondes have more fun?...
probably not, but you can see them better in the dark!

Three Generations

I'm posting a special picture! taken from the wedding. This is three generations.....my brother, Ken Lambeth, his son Jace and grandson "Baby Ellis" (named after his great-grandpa Lambeth). All very handsome I would say!
I was reading my grandaughters blog and I was clicking around on it...upon it came a list with the "Lambeths" on it! Guess, my detective instinct came in handy... It was really exciting when Jace's wife Amy's blogg came up. I got to see their beautiful little girl and baby Ellis, who has grown so much since this picture was taken. He is a little hunk now, so chubby and adorable! And I want to say that Amy is so special also...(we're both originally Beaverites!)
Anyway, now we can get to know oneanother better! FAMILIES ARE THE BEST! I have been very blessed to get to know them all in this life! Just wish I had known them sooner.

Having Halloween Fun!

Halloween Trick and Treat!

Halloween started out with a "TRICK"! Grandpa Swede was in terrible pain and early Halloween morning we had to head to Beaver Hospital to emergency, to find out he had a severe case of the Shingles....that was a dirty trick I would say! He is still very sick as his arthritis has kicked in and now he is walking on his walker (poor guy) nothing seems to help the pain.
On to Halloween night....It is always fun to see all the little ones having a really fun time! And the big ones too! Kerstin, came by for a recipe and was going to make Pumpkin Pie and Caramel Corn. She visited with us for awhile.
Little Kaylee and her parents came by, she was dressed like a little witch, but was a bit bashful.
We was surprised when Lynette, Dustin, and boys showed up from Cedar. A nice surprise! They were all dressed up so cute in their costumes...I will let DeAnn and Lynette post pictures of them!
Dayna and Sara, then brought their little ones by all dressed up so cute in their costumes!...they were having a ball!
It is so fun to see family, when they show up and especially to see them celebrating! This has always been a fun time in our lives!
I will post some pictures....anyway we had over 50 trick or treaters. By the way do you see any resemblances in the above picture?
