HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

I need to get busy with the camera...I don't have many pictures of Jeff....the one is with his 4 little girls when they were little: Dayna, Sara, Stephanie and Kerstin. The next one is more recent of Jeff and Kerstin.
My goodness! here it is... another New Year!....where did 2008 go??? Today, (new years eve) our son, Jeff and I are going shopping in Cedar!..oh!oh! hope I don't do to much damage to our finances!...well, tomorrow I will start the New Year off right, with the new resolution to not spend so much money!
I wish everyone a wonderful New Year full of much love, and may it be full of positive things...health and happiness! And Happy Birthday! goes out to our Rachel, she was a New Year Baby! Love ya' Rach!
Get out the old pots and pans and spoons to bang on and all the noisy things you can think of at midnight, to bring in the New Year Right!...well I just hope I can stay awake. I know Grandpa Swede will be long asleep before then!
Again, " HAVE A WONDERFUL 2009!"
LOVE YA' ALL!!!

Christmas!

For awhile I wondered if I would even get decorated for Christmas. I am posting a picture of a table I decorated just in case I didn't get a tree done. I had stuff in every little space waiting to decide where to put it. Even under the table.
Christmas was really nice...we got to see lots of our grandchildren and great-grand children. Christmas Eve Debbie and Craig came over to our house, Our daughter DeAnn, grandaughter, Crystal, Nick and little Kendra (from Colorado came to visit.....we just had snack foods this year and I made homemade candy. Time was very limited! Rachel and David and their little boys Lance and Luke came from Rexburg, Idaho. Kerstin and Jeff came over for awhile. Dustin and Lynette and boys, Jase and Jaxon came from Cedar to visit last night! The Holm family had a party and we, Grandma and Grandpa Johnson, were invited. We missed Russ Jr. and his cute little family. They left for Cedar before we got to see them. The weather was so terrible and road closed, so Brian, Melissa and their little girls couldn't get here for the party from over by Price. The little children really make Christmas, they are so adorable!
We got a new great-granddaughter a couple of days before Christmas! Jeff's daughter Dayna had a little baby girl....Jesse and Dayna now have 2 precious little girls. Dayna had to have her 2nd Cesarean and had to go back to the hospital with complications for 3 days. She is back home today and doing better. The baby is doing great! I will have to post a picture of her when I get one. She is really cute and I know her big sister, Jeslyn, is thrilled to have a baby sister!
We also, found out on the 22nd that Kerstin's baby is going to be a little girl. We are really excited...it should arrive on about May 13th. Our family is growing in leaps and bounds.
Well, now we will get back to the everyday life. Tomorrow will be my last day in my ward and I will go to the 3rd ward on the first Sun. of January.
I loved teaching Gospel Doctrine....I'm wondering if I will get another calling and what it will be?
We will get back to getting settled in our new home next week....we still have stuff to move. We did get all of our furniture on Christmas Eve morning. So we feel like we aren't just camped out now!

LINDSEY CAME TO VISIT

It is time I finally got to catching up on my blogging. Lindsey, our precious grandaughter came to visit us last weekend. It was so nice to see her, as she has only been here one other time since he daddy passed away. I am sure it was very hard on her, as she misses him so much and he isn't here when she comes to visit now. She is such a beautiful girl!...just seems like yesterday she was little and now she is all grown up. She is already 19 years old. We really miss seeing her often. I am posting some pictures of her. We thought she was going to be really short like her mom, but she has grown as tall as her Grandma Ann., (love it!) She has the best of both her mom and her daddy. Some of the pictures are taken by our Christmas Tree, which was the fastest decorating time in my life! Amazing, because I usually decorate for a couple of weeks.

R is for....
Top Ten - Letter R time!!!! I thought that this might be fun to play. All you have to do is make a list of ten of your favorite things. But there is a little catch. Everything on the list has to start with a specific letter of the Alphabet. That letter is randomly assigned by the blogger who you are playing with! I was assigned the letter R by Rachel, MY GRANDAUGHTER.
1. Rachel is my precious Grandaughter. She is so beautiful, thoughtful, sweet, and loving.
2. Remember! I remember all the wonderful things in my life. My daughter and son who have passed to the otherside so young. The fun we had and all my precious babies when they were born, how cute they were and how much I loved them! My beautiful grandchildren and the love I have for my husband.
3. Reliable....a very important trait in someone. One that I am very obsessed with.
4. Reach out whole heartedly!...nothing is impossible if you put forth the effort.
5. Resurrection...I know that if we walk in obedience to Gods commandments, we will be resurrected and have eternal exaltation.
6. Redhead....got two of the cutest little redheaded great grandchildren!...have been waiting forever for them!
7. Russell.....a very special son- in- law and a precious grandson by this name. Oh and a nephew also.
8. Roses...my favorite flower is the pink Rose.
9. Refridgerator.....just got a new one for my new House.
10. Rudolf..Santa's Reindeer, with the red nose!
Hey! that was easy. I could go on forever...R. is an easy one.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE....HAVE A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY AND REMEMBER IT IS ALL ABOUT OUR SAVIOR, OUR REDEEMER!

TIS' THE SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RIGHT?

Well, everyone I don't have any pictures to put on my blog right now, but just an update... Our house will close on Tuesday or Wednesday. Exciting!!! Have so much to do and it is holiday time! Oh my gosh! on the otherside of things, I came down with a bad bug.....fever, sinus, sore throat, nose running buckets and now the fever blisters, haven't been able to get much sleep until last night.... Anyway I have the new house totally spotless, have been working at moving the small stuff, until last night. We got a few bigger things moved, but then disaster! my little hutch, which I got from Crystal, fell off the truck and shattered to smitherines (not spelled right), but you get the idea. Now, I have all my pretty decorations I put in and on it and I am totally lost at how to decorate my new house!....will take any ideas I can get! My fevers gone, my house here is a disaster, no Christmas decorations up yet! (I have decorated my childrens graves at the cemetery though). I still don't know what ward I am going to be in....it is being looked into by my Bishop. I have been told I will have to change wards.....I don't know whether to prepare my Gospel Doctrine Lesson's. Actually there isn't time! but I love my calling! I sluffed church this morning (bad girl). I look a sight with the swollen blistery nose. My week will never be the same. It never is when I don't go to church.....I love it and it just starts my whole week off right! and I'm getting old and slower, darn it!
Now, to the bright side of things and many great blessings! my family are all the best! Jeff, put in the in-line, reverse osmoses water filter yesterday and also the water filters on the showers, so I won't be allergic to the clorine, and fixed a ceiling fan. Debbie, Craig, Kyle and Austin moved a couple of trucks full of stuff to the new house. DeAnn, Russell and their family are all so supportive too, and they will help us as they always do! It is such a busy time of year for everyone! Yes, this will all get done sooner than later (can't wait for sooner) and I am so blessed and thankful for my friends and family. Everyone is always so great! My hubby is working at the airport, so I can have more money to spend in our new house! He teases me, but is so thoughtful and never complains. He is really excited too!
Well anyway, everyone have a great holiday season, full of the love of everyone and remember especially our love for our Savior Jesus Christ, and His Love for us.
Next, blogg I will be able to blog pictures of my new house and maybe my Christmas Tree.....I am sure I won't be stressed and the big swollen nose will be better, and Annie can be her old self again....only an even happier one! My Crystal will help me put on a new background for my blog....I haven't ask her yet! I can't make one work. She also, did some shopping for me in Cedar.
Love all you guys so much and thankful for the "great gospel of love" in my life! Thankful for trials and all that we learn from them, and that they make us stronger. I am truly thankful for all the good times and the blessings, which out measure the hard things, although it makes us wonder a little at times, (the norm!)
I KNOW THIS WILL BE A GREAT CHRISTmas!
I love each of you so much! I love my Savior and I love CHRISTmas! ( but I also, don't love to wait on slow old granny!)
No, "Granny won't get run over by a Reindeer!"
Keep blogging everyone! I look forward to them! Remember the stress of Christmas is what makes it exciting! (and rememberable!) Wow! I think I will have some great memories! hope so!
