Dear Journal........

Have been reminded again to get blogging (my DeDe)......I have been slacking! We are finally over the stomach flu, but the allergies are off the chart! (this too shall pass). Well, it is hot here in Milford now, the flowers are beginning to grow, but it is hard to keep them watered with all the wind we have had. I will take some pictures when they are blooming. I have about forgot everything Crystal taught me about blogging, so will have to figure it out.
Grandpa Swede goes to Salt Lake, tomorrow for a cat scan on his lungs. I wanted to go with him and be dropped off in Provo at my allergist, but it would be a long wait for him to come back to pick me up. Allergies are bad up there to and I don't know if I could make it that long in the doctors office. He won't stay over night in a motel, like we use to when we lived in Winnemucca. There is one right by the doctors office. We will have to make an appointment just for my doctor later. Sure could use the treatment now though.
We do have lots of exciting good news! Stacy and her family will be coming to Milford on July 4th and 5th. they live near Seattle & work in Seattle. We have never met her husband, or her youngest little boy Alex. We are excited to see them. Sure wish Danny and his wife, who we haven't met, were coming also.
Leticia, emailed us today and said her and her mom Shanda are coming to visit this summer. They live in Fernley, Nv. It will be really nice! we haven't seen them forever either. If every one was here at the same time we could have a family reunion. We wish we could travel to visit everyone, but our health just won't allow it, or maybe grandpa's work schedule won't allow it!!!!! (my pet pieve), he doesn't need to work every weekend and holiday. We need to get with it or we will be too old. We could at least make a days travel at a time or something. Guess, our destiny is Milford forever. It's fine to be our home, but need to get away from here once in awhile. (depressing).
So much for the complaining......as I watch all the awful stuff on the news throughout the world we are very blessed!
I am really excited! One of my favorite people, Larry Whittaker, my bishop from the 2nd Ward, has been put in the Stake Presidency. He will be so good! I will never forget all the support he gave me during the time of Laney's last years. I got my drinking water from his house by the gallons for years, and he and Adrianne always made me feel welcome. I'm sure it was inconvenient for them at times. I will always be indebted to them. They are both very special !
I am very blessed to have family here in Milford! I don't know what I would ever do without them! I still have that wild blood running through my veins to travel.....I use to just jump in the car and go wherever I was needed, or wanted to go. Guess, I just can't accept the change. I should just remember all the things I did do! or maybe that's what makes me antzy.
Well, the highlight of my day is to read all the blogs and emails from my dear family. They really make me smile! Kerstin, comes to visit daily, she has her drivers license now and seems to be fine. She is very busy with 2 jobs...I enjoy her visits.
When I figure out how to send pictures I will.
Until then............love ya!
