I have so much to write about.....I am a very blessed person! My good friend Karen LaOrange, invited me to go to the temple last Saturday! We did one session....what a great day! I know it is just what I needed. I had a wonderful experience! I did the work for a little lady from the Netherlands, born in the 1700's. Her names were the same as my own..(not coincidence, but amazing!) the weather was warm and beautiful. They were planting flowers on the temple grounds already. Sunday, when I went to church I felt so good, although my records still haven't been read in my new ward yet... I think that might be my problem?.....I joke about it saying I feel like a man without a country!....this week is Stake Conference, so it won't happen then either. During the week my brother David and mom Marie came to visit. It was so nice to see them. They brought me a beautiful picture of Christ, by Greg Olsen and a pretty white lamp for my house. It was a special day!
Our daughter Debbie was married on January 17th in Las Vegas to Craig Halverson, they are so happy and we are happy for them. It was her birthday on the 20th and we celebrated at DeAnn's for dinner and Birthday Cake. It was really nice. DeAnn posted pictures on her blog of it.
I will post pictures of the wedding as soon as I get them down loaded.
My brother, Gary, who lives in Beaver, has been really sick for a couple of weeks. He was in the Cedar Hospital! He went to emergency there. Even though he was under doctors care in Beaver, he became so dehyderated. He has a kidney transplant so it was really serious. The kidney could have quit working. He is home now, but still very ill. He was allergic to the meds he was put on and couldn't swallow for days. He is such an example of endurance to me. I put his name on the prayer roll at the temple. I just love my family so much and it's hard to see them hurting.....I pray for them everyday.
Tomorrow, Swede goes to the VA Hospital in Orem,, to the doctor and then on to Salt Lake for a cat-scan of his lungs. It is just his check up time. Sure hope the weather is good and all goes well.
Spring will be here before we know it.....I can go for that! Like that warm weather!
I talked to my good friend Nona, who lives in Winnemucca, this week. It is always nice to talk with her. I really miss her. We have lots in common. Her husband is having Gall Bladder Surgery this week.
My first cousin Mary's husband in Salt Lake is having surgery on Monday for colon cancer. I pray for him also. This has been one heck of a week! So much going on....I hope next week has all positive come to it.
I will post a picture of Debbie, being as it was her birthday on the 20th and our Laurie's was on the 16th. January and February are always both happy and sad months. We lost our Laurie and Swede's Mom in February. But had three beautiful daughters and a grandaughter born in those months and Swedes mom's birthday was Jan. 19th.
This is a pretty crazy life! full of so much, both happy and sad, but that is just what life was meant to be, so we can learn from it!
I have so much to be thankful for! and it is so fun to read and see all the neat blogs of our family and friends. All those little ones are just adorable and bring so much joy to our lives. Computer technology is wonderful!

Wow, you have quite a bit going on. It's great to hear an update, and thanks for the reminder to be thankful - always. Family, home, and church are all things I'm grateful for. I can't wait for the warm weather also!
