Grandpa Swede at the Milford Airport

This is a very large airplane.... a Twin Engine Otter... it landed at the Milford airport where Grandpa Swede, fueled it up with 360 gallons of jet fuel! It is from Alberta Canada and on it's way to the South Pole. It belongs to the British Government and is a Antartic Explorer Survey Plane. Notice the ski's on it, which can assist the landing on ice and snow. This occurs each year!
Notice Grandpa standing by it in the first picture......airplanes and the airport is his life most of the time!

That's awesome. I'll have to show Nick when he gets home. He loves planes and helicopters.

The boys will love this picture. Most men would be like little boys at Christmas with all the airplanes, so I can understand why Grandpa would love the airport. We LOVE you guys!

That is such a neat plane! I showed Lance the picture & he loved it (he loves airplanes). He also was excited to see Papa Swede. The next time we come to Milford, we'll have to take Lance to the airport to see Papa. He'll think that's the greatest!
